Frequently Asked Questions about IPL Rejuvenation

  • Consultations are recommended especially if this is your first visit.

  • Intensed Pulsed Light is best performed on lighter skin types as the laser is attracted to pigment, making it not suitable on pigment rich areas.

  • The downtime for IPL is considered minimal, causing redness and mild swelling for 3-5 days. If this is a concern please discuss with your technician at your consultation.

  • Some will see results in as little as one session, however best results are visible after 3 sessions.

  • Like most other lasers it is not recommended to have while pregnant as there are limited studies done. If this is a concern please discuss this with your technician at your consultation.
